About this time every year, Mr. Claar cancels the Village meeting. It is speculated that this is due to vacation seasons for the board members. Whatever the case, there are a few items on the agenda to take a look at.
The main one is the approvals of the Sub recipient Agreement between the Village and Community Service Council of Northern Will County regarding Community Development Block Grant Funds.
CSC wants more of your tax money.
CSC is run by Carol Penning, Village Clerk, Village Employee, and member/ Chair of Bolingbrook's First party Candidates.
It is also run by Bob Kalnicky (Library board member, Bolingbrook Tea Party founder, claiming to run for IL Senate seat in 2012 as a Republican, but does this which shows he is not a Republican).
They already get approx. $80K per year in residents property tax money, plus more from DuPage Township. It comes out to a hefty sum for residents being smacked with this organization from two taxing bodies. Just thought the residents should know... John A.
Please Kalnicky should be associated with the Tea Party. He is a moderate,liberal or left wing Republican which to true Tea Party members like me, makes him a Socialist.
