While the village waits for the assessment of value of homes, the other taxing bodies are moving forward increasing taxing amounts. The school district and library are both increasing amounts to tax payers.
The library is going to "abate" bond payments in order to keep the amounts lowered.
Du Page Township is withholding the annual budgets in order for the taxpayers to NOT know what they are planning on doing all year.
