Porfirio Madrid was found passed out and intoxicated on Frontage Road. The Police found him and took him to the hospital. Porfirio was wanted for strangulation, battery, assault, intimidation, and bail jumping in Wisconsin. He had many fraudulent identification pieces on him as well.
However, a Bolingbrook Police officer allowed him to walk out of the hospital.
Fortunately, but much later, he was picked up on Schmidt road.
Why would the police have let him walk out of the hospital? Why could they not catch a guy moving on foot until so much later? This man was a threat to our families and this was obviously not viewed as a priority... What if he robbed, raped, or killed a resident while fleeing the police and trying to find a place to hide?
Maybe it was a priority for the Police but we lacked enough police to keep our streets safe, thanks to recent budget cuts...
