Bolingbrook Lobbyists Agenda on your Tax Dollars

When we pay the WCGL with $200K per year, what does it go for?  Lobbyists.

Take a look at what you are paying for.  On the agenda for the 2011 year, they are paying lobbyists to fight for change in:

"Notification and Publications in Newspapers"

They are looking to eliminate the need to publicise meetings, bids, and other notifications.  This means residents will NOT be able to keep tabs on their local governments and how they conduct business
. 
Let's hope local Senators do NOT pass this bill!  If they sponsor it, let's hope they don't get re-elected.  We will continue to cover this agenda.

    Goes to pay Quiqleys salary. Be interesting to see how much each village donates to this unnecessary cause.
