Bolingbrook Suing American Water

What do we think about this lawsuit?

Since they did not approach AM Water to reach an amicable agreement before filing the lawsuit, we think the lawsuit is WRONG.  All this is about is making our Village attorney more money.  They could have saved the taxpayers a great deal of money had they approached Am Water and sat down with them to work out these details in advance. 

The Village Attorneys office makes approx. $900,000 a year from taxpayers.  This will undoubtedly raise this by about $100K and will put him at a Million dollars a year.  He is probably the one that suggested the lawsuit to the Mayor, wanting to line his own pockets.  The taxpayers will see their taxes go up, to accommodate this fee.
