From a local resident to Mr. Kwiat;
Mr. Wayne, I am writing you this letter and using the Bolingbrook Report to deliver it. I am doing this for two reasons. The first reason is that you do not spend time in your Bolingbrook address at Kwait Law Firm, as you rented it out to a realtor but kept your sign up. The second reason I am doing this is because you would try to keep me silent. Silent is not my strong point and election season is upon you.
I am writing today to point out something you did years ago that changed the course of my life. I wanted to share this story with the residents.
When I was younger I played with your kids and thought your wife Jan was a doll. (This I found out later was your second wife and previous secretary). My parents supported you as a friend and associate to run for office in Bolingbrook, with then aspiring Mayor Roger Claar. They held fundraisers for you in our home and supported your efforts. They involved themselves with belief in you and your morals.
A few years passed and their business was wrongfully sued. (In this day and age a suit like this would be thrown out of court). They spent money and hired you as their lawyer and trusted friend to make this lawsuit disappear. They wondered why it was not thrown out of court and why it was going on for years.
A little too late they found out it was because you were failing to show up at the court dates, or to represent them, but still collecting their money. The case almost cost them millions, as it was nearing judgement when they found out. They wound up settling out of court for a great deal of money, on their own without representation.
This money they had to pay for settlement was mine and my sisters college funds, my parents retirement funds, and everything they had worked hard for.
Needless to say, as I pay my school loans each month and help my parents to survive, I think of you.
I know I am not the only story like this in town. I know I am not the only person/ family you burned. I know you have lied to the government before and you lied again recently about your position with the Will County offices and with your tenure in support of the Unions.
I write this letter to tell people what kind of person you are and to let you know that the many people you hurt in life might find a way to hurt you back for it. It is called Karma. I think this is the time that others in Bolingbrook should step up and write those letters to the Brook Report as well about what he has done to them. People need to know why someone like Wayne does not deserve to hold a moral position as Judge.
As for Wayne, you know who I am and you know how to find me. If you don't know who I am, them I rest my case about the above statement. An apology to my parents or myself would have gone a long way over the course of the years this happened.
