An amazing this has occurred recently. But is is amazing or can it be called deception?
At a recent meeting, Trustee Leroy Brown and Trustee Morales voted "no" to the expansion of the truck stop.
Trustee Brown has voted "yes" to all votes since 1993. That is 7 and a half years of votes, times two votes a month = approx. 168 votes of yes without a "no" vote. Now that he is up for re-election and people running for office against him have placed this on their literature, he has voted no. Coincidence? We think not. Deception? Definitely!
Mr. Morales has also voted "no" for the first time since taking office. Coincidence? We think not. Deception? Definitely!
These are two of the three candidates about to lose their seats at the upcoming April election. One of the main reasons they will lose their seats is because they have voted "YES" to all bills passed, running Bolingbrook debt upwards of $300 Million Dollars and costing taxpayers more money then necessary with high homeowners taxes, high sales taxes, high stamp taxes, red light camera fees, high hotel taxes, high gas tax, high prepared food tax, high liquor and tobacco tax. and any other way they can get more money out of the residents and visitors.
Sorry boys, it is a little too late! Let the contenders knock you down for what you caused, and voting on a business expansion does not cut the fact you have voted YES to every expense Roger wanted. The residents wont forget you voted in the Golf Club, Airport, Americana Estates, and other ventures that are draining us!
