ReplyDeleteNo matter who you were cheering for, this is a disgusting turnout for an election that directly impacts your daily life and real estate taxes.
I am an election judge. We were all very disappointed with the turnout in the village and school board elections. We also considered the cost per vote which this election cost.
ReplyDeleteIf someone took away our right to vote, we would be irate and up in arms. People in the Middle East and elsewhere have been sacrificing their lives for a say in government. We have democracy for a reason! If you didn't vote this time, please think about it - and resolve to vote in every election.
