A shopper at Fiesta Market on Rt. 53 and Briarcliff was wearing some gold chains. This person had the chains ripped right off of them and stolen.
Right down the street on Woodcreek Drive, a handgun was stolen.
On Saulk lane some car tires were slashed.
Isn't it time that the Police get more active on the East side of town off of Rt. 53? It is long overdue and although they currently patrol the area, they need to help residents get together for the neighborhood watch programs.
Unfortunately, I think it is the type of people that live on that side of town that create the problems. Not saying everyone falls into that group, but alot do.
