First, we only had about 3,700 people come out to vote. Normally, Roger's team gets at least 4,000 voters. This was a low election count. That means Roger could not get out more than 600 voters this time. This means a loss of 600 right from the top of people that believe his team is doing the right thing in the Village. That is a huge number. This is 15% of the population.
Second, Leroy Brown missed around 1,500 of the votes, missing the count by losing 1,000 votes this year.
Morales and Shanks also missed about 1,500 votes. This is significant since only 3400 voted. This is about what... 50% only if counting who did not come to vote their usual vote? A far drop from the last election they ran. At this rate, a 50% drop in four years means 4 years from now they won't pull a single vote if they do not change their ways!
This is the residents voting for change. This is the independents pulling votes based on the residents wishes. It is time for the incumbents to listen up!
Rhonda and Bob pulled great numbers. It was Bob's first election and he yanked a good amount from their hands. Rhonda has a steady following.
Cygan fell behind the predicted amounts. Nash and Napionello rounded out the end. Total, the independents pulled great votes!
Congrats winners! You are all winners tonight!
