Something is happening Saturday

Last Saturday the 9th, the annual budget meeting was cancelled.  This followed the election results where we spoke of layoffs in some areas while increasing budgets in others.  It is our feeling that the meeting was cancelled so they could re-adjust budgets, since they had a full "Yes" board in place. 

This means we need to watch the budget carefully as to whom they are hiring and why, what they are spending the money on this year and why, as well as who will be cut.

It is also odd that the Public Safety meeting was cancelled on the 12th and the Zoning on the 13th. 

We will be watching for these changes.

We also reported that they would be hiring people based on thier political help in the election.  Today we noticed they have posted the positions open on the web site.  We will be watching who is hired in these newly created positions.  However, we are disturrbed that the cuts they made last year and people laid off, are not coming back instead.  Plus, why re-fill positions?  I thought we were still in the recession!

In finality, I am anxious to see which Trustee will return their 3% raise and if Roger will take a raise this year. 

However, although we work hard to report the issues, we want you to know that no matter what they do to you, it is all your fault.  You voted them in.  By doing so, you Oked them to do what they are about to do.  Let them rob us blind!  The residents have voted!
