When Winning Feels Like Losing.

From an ol' time resident:

Now that elections are over, I wanted to point out that sometimes winning is really losing.

One Trustee incumbent who won is now 66 years old.  He will be 70 by the time this election comes back around.  He will be under scrutiny of the government watch dogs, as all elected officials should be, for four more years. 

One trustee is 74 and will be 78 when her term comes back around. 

God forbid if anything happens to them at this age because of the stress, will it all be Bonnie's fault again?  I find this very funny.

Is this really a win for them or a win for Roger?  I am of age as well and can't see spending my time with this kind of stress.  Life is too short.  If you ask me, their winning means they really lost out on the last good years they have left.  They have cheated their spouses, grandchildren, and kids from the years they could have spent by their side helping them to succeed, learn to love, and be happy.

But remember I told ya so and if you couldn't take the heat you should have gotten out of the kitchen!
