April Gavin pulling in the lead for School Board

With the school board election coming in seven days, we are closely watching for the most "likely" to win.  April Gavin has pulled ahead in the polls and appears to be the "most liked" candidate to sit on the school board this year. 

With Mike Evans stepping down, this will place her a sure winner in this election. 

Opponents are pushing hard to take Quigley, Venegas, and Gougis spots.

Venegas and Gougis have never run an election.  They were placed on the board to replace vacant seats.  It is alleged that their positions were given solely on clout, not ability.  This same process has eliminated April Gavin twice.  However, the residents will speak up and show the incumbents that she should have been the one picked over these two candidates that were handed the position.
