we do not support, like or use Topix.
Others use it to spread false rumors and try to discredit people because they think using a false name that they can hide behind, won't show people how ugly on the inside they are.

During this election there has been some banter on Topix about Bob Bowen and Joe Napionellio, as well as Rhonda Slaughter.  These are top contenders to take the Village back for the residents.  We set up some false trails to find who was printing this stuff and low and behold, one trail led to an elected official!

It is alleged that Ruth Newell, whom sits on the Library Board, seems to like using Topix.  Our latest tip has caught her recently contributing, based off the false lead we put out.  It would appear that she is NOT in support of the candidates she told she would support, and in return has placed much mis-information out there about them. 

We wonder what her angle really is, no matter how nasty people can be.  Please send us your story Ruth!  The Village wants to know!
