Are local news sources biased or non-biased?

Some people would like their news sources to be non-biased.  Some claim that they are non-biased.  However, do not always believe what you read.
For example, it is apparent that Fox News is heavily anti-Obama.  So why should local papers be any different?  The Bolingbrook Patch claims they are unbiased, however, posting on their blog can get your blog and opinion removed if you post against the incumbents.  Posting about a new comer running will stay on forever, no matter how awful the post or how often you “flag” the comment.  This shows huge bias.  They also write articles on Roger’s favorite people, including how wonderful his daughter is and Mr. Kwiat is.  It Is not like these people are running for office, it is just political propaganda.
The Bugle is largely run on Roger Claar’s recommendation, and despite the NUMEROUS mis-deeds of the current administration, they refuse to cover local political issues unless it is against and biased toward Political opponents of Claar’s people.
The Brook Report does not state that we are unbiased.  We are very biased.  We make it very clear that we fight for the rights of the residents,  and if you do the people of Bolingbrook wrong, it will be exposed.  We also tell people that if you do not like reading those kinds of comments, you do not have to read our site.  There is a demand for our news.  We tell it like it is.  We cannot be bought off, threatened or bullied.  We are like many common shows that cover documentaries such as  “Conspiracy Theory” with Jesse Ventura, and some of Mike Meyers documentaries.
So don’t be fooled by the lies that news is not biased.  Papers are biased, reporters are biased, and many can be bought off or threatened.  Make your own informed decision and think about that when you read something.
