A Message to the Incumbents...Morales, Brown, and Shanks

"The hardest thing about any political campaign is how to win without proving that you are unworthy of winning." ~ Adlai E. Stevenson

In this election, you have shown some dirty tactics.  People are tired of mudslinging elections.  Not a single candidate attacked you this year.  Not a single candidate took your signs, brochures, or spread false and mis-leading information about you.  Yet, you have chosen to run a dirty election and did this to those that stood high and proud to NOT do that to you.

When all is said and done, and people are elected to office, will you be able to live with the reputation you guys have done to yourself?  We all know that winning in Bolingbrook is all about how many people you get to support you or risk losing their jobs.  that alone shows how much bullying you do before an election.

The new candidates votes will speak volumes to you incumbents.  For each person that votes for independent, it will tell you that people are sick of your bullying and inability to do the job.

Last time 30% of Bolingbrook spoke and voted AGAINST Roger.  30% is a great deal of the population, but he did nothing to change, and ignored the fact that a write in candidate, with two last names took that many of his votes.  What will it be this year?  How many people have you lost with your stealing signs, untrustworthyness, and padding your pockets?  Probably a lot.  Will it change your greed and anger?  Probably not.  It is time to start listening to the needs of the residents.  The need is for an honest politician, that listens to what we want before voting...

  1. I think that we're all tired of mudslinging. I have not seen anything directly from ANY of the candidates (including incumbents) personally attacking another candidate. I have heard accusations from both sides but that is it. The truth is, with the internet, you have no idea who is really saying what.

We are also tired of the stretching of the truth and the out right lies. To set the record straight, 30% of the voters did not vote against Mr. Claar.

Many of us would love to have a reason to vote for change but when we can't get accurate answers from the challengers, it makes it difficult to trust anything that they are saying.

  2. Not voting for the Mayor position is voting against it. This is accurate numbers... You can deny all you want but numbers do not lie.
This denial has left the residents pondering re-electing everyone new.
