Ken Cygan took Money from the Union!

When people run for office, they try to avoid certain things.  For one thing, they do not mind a Union supporting them.  But for another, taking the Union's cash means they are buying your vote.

Unions have a great deal to lose and spend much money to entertain putting local politicians in their pocket to get the best bargaining dollar for their annual funds.  Seasoned local politicians know that getting support or having them walk door to door is justified.  The minute you host a Union Fundraiser, all bets are off the table that you can do what is right for the taxpayers with it comes to Union negotiating.

This week Ken Cygan hosted a $25 dinner for Public Works Union workers.  He has been pocketed by the Union and should not longer run for office.  It is essential for an unbiased trustee to vote on union contracts and what he did was what most would call "Pay to Play" when in office.

  1. THIS IS NOT TRUE! NO UNION IS ALLOWED TO ATTEND ANY DINNERS OR FUNDRAISERS WITHOUT LOCAL APPROVAL!
    FALSE AND MISLEADING- PLEASE RETRACT!

  2. Your kidding right? So if I belong to a Union I cannot support a Politician? Was this "Public Works Union" Identified because there is more than one union and the one that did go, did they go as individuals or as a Union? Did the Union write the check for the $25.00 or was it individuals paying the $25.00 are you trying to keep people from participating in the process buy slamming their participation? Does anyone agree with me?

  3. Since when did people belonging to a union loose their right to decide if they want to support a candidate or attend a meet in greet? You're making something out of nothing.
