Should we vote the incumbents back in?

Here are some top reasons to NOT vote for the incumbents (Current Trustees):

1.  They have not had a balanced budget.

2.  They have voted on millions of dollars of debt (over $208M)

3.  The debt they voted on had NO GAME PLAN to pay it back.

4.  They voted to build and run the losing venture Golf Club, Clow Airport, and Americana Estates.

5.  For two years they have cut public service deeply.

6.  They have recently passed $500K of donations to pet charities, while sitting on charity boards and village boards.

7.  In 10-20 years, they have voted YES to 99.9% of the total votes.

8. At board meetings, you cannot address the Trustees and they are NOT allowed to comment.

9.  They attend lavish functions on tax dollars, including dinners, trips, events, and more.

10.  Some of these trustees do not read the budget before the meeting and pass the items anyhow.

11.  Their campaign site contains NO EMAIL ADDRESS to contact them and ask questions.

12.  They do not respond when you send them mail to the Village.

13.  They allow nepotism and pay to play in contract negotiations, using a false bidding system to decide who will win contracts.

14.  They are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to prepare to buy a water company back, which they sold for pennies, even if the residents do not want to buy it.  There has been no referendum for this item.

15.  They verbally attack all oppositions to their point of view and refuse to budge on their party stance... even if it means alienating all the residents.  Therefore, they vote for the parties best interest above the residents they have been sworn in to serve.
