Propaganda Alert to Village Employees

During every election cycle in Bolingbrook, propaganda rumors are spread amongst Village employees.  This election cycle is no different.

The current rumor states that "if anyone votes in any person other then the three current trustees, the new trustees will cut their jobs and they will be unemployed."

Does this sound familiar?  Last year during the Mayoral run, they spread the rumor that Bonnie Alicea would cut Police, Fire, etc.  Right after the election, the current Trustees and Mayor made those cuts, not Bonnie, and Bonnie fought for their jobs. The rumor they spread, was in fact, the opposite of the truth.

The current trustees are notorious for cutting jobs, while candidates like Robert Bowen and Rhonda Reed Slaughter have stuck to their guns about NOT cutting services for the past two years.

Voting in the incumbents are sure to get you laid off if your a village worker.  Do not listen to their propaganda.  The current Trustees cut jobs DIRECTLY after elections... right after they get your nice little vote.

So do not be afraid of who you vote for.  Once you get behind that curtain, nobody knows what you voted...
