Library open for business
The new Fountaindale Public Library will open to the public Monday in Bolingbrook. The project cost 39.5 million dollars to build.
If the library district bought a $120 e-reader for every one of the 17,416 households in Bolingbrook it would have cost $2,089,920. Say they spent $410,000 on training the public, this would have saved 37 million.
